Basics Workshop:: Indianapolis Photographer

Miss Jessica lives in my hood and we just love her and her whole family! We had about 100 mph wind to deal with (gotta love Indiana in May!) and then we "almost" got run over by a train. Jessica was a trooper. These pictures were taken all around our neighborhood...I love all the colors and textures we found! Jessica's sister, Lauren, came along to help us. Thanks for being so amazing girls! I hope you enjoy these favorites!

Okay, so we didn't really get that close to getting run over by a train, but right when I was about to start shooting the whistle blew and it was literally around the corner. I accidently took this one right when the whistle blew. I had thoughts of "Stand By Me" going through my head!

Where do I begin! I LOVED this senior session! Lorna is SOOO beautiful...inside and out! Not only that, but her bff Gwen was there too. I love it when seniors bring their friends. We talked about everything going on in their lives...I totally felt like a senior again :o) I was cracking up the whole time. btw girls I need updates on those boys asap :o)

I hope you love these as much as I do! It was hard to narrow them down!

Nathan Turns the Big ONE

I met Shannon this year through one of my workshops. I was super excited to take her son's First Birthday pictures! Oh what fun we had!!! Shannon had everything planned out perfectly. The progression of the cake eating is my favorite! It's like watching a movie in slow motion. Thanks so much for having me document this precious occasion!

I'm Alive!

Hello dear friends! I just looked at my last post and realized that I haven't written in quite a while! I can't believe it's already May! My kids have been keeping me super busy, making me laugh (and cry), and inspiring in all areas of my life. My super talented hubby is redoing our entire laundry area by himself. He's amazing. I'm out of a washer and dryer for a while! Not great while trying to potty train! Which explains the iphone picture below. he he he

Sometimes you just need to eat in the nude :o)

Josh and I have been enjoying trying new places to eat. I love asking restaurant questions on facebook. I think I received 22 different comments about it. LOVED it! Plus, we found some cool new places. The guys in our neighborhood all love the Mexican Grills Restaurant in Fountain Square. We LOVE Fountain Square.




I've had a wonderful winter break. Coming from teaching, I feel like I still get a little time off. It's just in the winter instead of the summer now. I feel refreshed and excited! I've done a ton of little babies and now I'm shooting more seniors and a wedding this weekend. Plus I've decided to do ONE MORE WORKSHOP before summer! This will be another basic workshop. Think...present for Mother's Day! May 22nd. More on that to come as well. Here's a sneak of the blogs I'm working on now.
